Three hard-charging Health Care Heroes

We're in the final month before Election Day, and our movement to elect the Health Care Heroes is firing on all cylinders. Their Republican opponents are scrambling to talk about anything –anything– but the GOP's attack on Americans' coverage.

Let's keep turning up the heat! Chip in now to bring the Health Care Heroes to Washington!

Let's meet our next three Health Care Heroes:

Outside of Des Moines, Cindy Axne (IA-03) is facing incumbent David Young. In a truly grotesque display last spring, Young promised his constituents he'd protect their health care and reject Trumpcare. Then, after Paul Ryan's PAC donated money to Young's campaign, David Young broke his promise, voting yes on Trumpcare, which would take coverage away from tens of thousands of Iowans.

A fifth-generation Iowan, Cindy's had enough of these betrayals. She's running to give Iowans a Congresswoman they can trust to protect their care.

Here in New England, Iraq-Afghanistan veteran Jared Golden (ME-02) is running to bring his fight for working families and his fellow vets from the Maine State House to Congress. His Republican opponent, Bruce Poliquin, voted for Trumpcare, but complained at the time that it wasn't extreme enough. And now the election's approaching and Mainers are worried about Republicans taking their coverage away, so Poliquin has stopped talking about health care almost entirely.

Elaine Luria (VA-02), a 20-year Navy veteran and successful small business owner, knows a thing or two about fighting for what's right. That's why she's taking on Republican Scott Taylor, who, despite talking about himself as a moderate, votes with Donald Trump 98 percent of the time! He's spent his time in Congress doing everything he can to pare down, defund, and strip away his constituents' coverage.

Please contribute now to support Cindy, Jared, and Elaine and fuel the fight for accessible, affordable care for everyone!
