Tim Walz gets it in Minnesota

Some people are meant to lead. My friend Tim Walz is one of those people.

Tim’s running for governor of Minnesota, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be stumping for him yesterday in the North Star State.

Please join me in supporting Tim Walz for Minnesota Governor and Peggy Flanagan for Lieutenant Governor.

Throughout his life, Tim’s devoted himself to serving others: he’s the highest-ranking enlisted service member ever to serve in Congress, an award-winning high-school teacher, a champion football coach, and a stalwart member of the U.S. Congress for over 10 years.

That’s true service to our country.

Now Tim’s running to bring that same commitment to the governor’s office, where he’ll fight for the issues that matter – affordable health care, creating decent jobs, fair treatment of working people, racial equity, gun safety, education, LGBTQ rights and so much more.

Chip in $3 to drive progressive change in Minnesota!

Tim’s Republican opponent, Jeff Johnson, has spent his time in the state legislature siding with powerful special interests against working Minnesotans. He’s voted against covering pre-existing conditions and in favor of gutting public education.

And Jeff Johnson has repeatedly announced his support for Donald Trump, recently telling the Star Tribune, “I like what he is trying to do. I like the direction he is trying to take the country.”

That’s dangerous thinking, and that’s why we need to step up to make sure Tim Walz is the next governor of Minnesota.

Chip in now to support Tim’s campaign and make sure Minnesota joins the blue wave sweeping the nation.
