Families legally seeking asylum at our border don't constitute an "emergency," but Donald Trump's response to them does.

Nearly a million American workers forced to go without paychecks this week because their President is playing some political game — that's an emergency.

Funding for everything from domestic violence shelters to air control to health inspections in jeopardy — that's an emergency.

While the President takes his anti-immigrant crusade to new heights, American livelihoods, communities, and families are on the line.

He's right — we face humanitarian horror at our border. He just leaves out the part about him creating it.
