Tell Congress, "Protect the right to choose!"

Extremist politicians have been trying to undermine Roe v. Wade in the courts since it was decided in 1973. Now, with the most right-wing court in decades, the right to make one's own reproductive choices is in greater danger than ever.

The choice whether and when to have children is crucial in keeping women healthy, preserving our constitutional rights, supporting survivors of assault, lifting families out of poverty, and more.

It's time for Congress to protect that right once and for all.

Tell Congress: pass legislation to protect access to reproductive health care.

Ten years ago, an anti-choice extremist brutally murdered Dr. George Tiller, a dedicated provider of reproductive health care, as he sat in church.

In church.

The attack was the culmination of a campaign of violence against Dr. Tiller, including protracted abuse on Fox News, firebombing his clinic, and repeated assassination attempts.

A decade later, little has changed. If anything, the radical right is getting more aggressive:

Last week, the National Abortion Federation reported dramatic increases in instances of trespassing (78%) and obstruction (178%) at clinics, as well as 57 threats of death or harm.

Yesterday, the only abortion provider in Missouri fought for its right to stay open as the state threatened to revoke its license.

Our laws need to be unambiguous: all people deserve the right to make their own choices about their bodies.

Add your name to tell Congress: protect the right to choose, now!
